Tinubu: Why People Should Stop Talking About Muslim-Muslim Ticket -Deji Adeyanju News Hub Creator Jul 21, 2022 11:02 PM Since the APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu declared Kashim Shattima as the party’s vice presidential candidate, various organisations and people have expressed conflicting perspectives. While many have defended and justified the choice, others, including many APC members and Mr. Tinubu’s close colleagues, have spoken out against it. Speaking on the Muslim-Muslim ticket, Deji Adeyanju, a human rights activist, has encouraged Nigerians to stop talking about Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim ticket, claiming that the more the matter is being raised, the more Nigerians indirectly campaign for Tinubu, making him more popular in the country’s north. He further warned that debating the Muslim-Muslim ticket would cause some Nigerians (Muslims) to feel that it was a campaign against their faith. He remarked, “People should stop addressing the Muslim-Muslim issue before some people assume it is a against their religion. It’s sufficient. I already made my point. The more we talk about it, the more we campaign for Tinubu up North.” He also asked Nigerian pastors and priests to cease discussing the same faith ticket. “I am pretty familiar with politics and politicians. Not everything may be spoken on social media, but a word from the wise is enough. Pastors around the country should cease preaching about the same faith ticket and instead do whatever they choose on Election Day.” From Opera News Content created and supplied by News Hub Creator .
